15% of the city of Madrid is covered with abundant vegetation, while 48.8% consists of dispersed greenery. The distribution of urban green spaces does not follow a clear spatial pattern. The city features large parks and gardens, such as El Retiro, Manzanares Park, Parque del Oeste, Juan Pablo II Park, and Casa de Campo. Vegetation is also present in the form of trees and flower beds along various streets in the city.
