The adequacy of the characteristics of the built environment for walking and cycling in cities is measured from the global indicator of active mobility. It takes into account urban densities for walkability, cyclability, urban greenery, urban vitality and 15-minute city.

The urban centre of Palma has the right characteristics to facilitate walking and cycling. The tallest are located in the city center and along the waterfront. On the other hand, values are low in the periphery.
