Intermodality in Palma
The intermodality indicator of Palma de Mallorca shows the levels of intermodality within the city. In Palma’s case, with buses as the only form of public transport, the map distinguishes only between areas with no intermodality and level 1 areas, where intermodality exists between buses and bicycles. These areas are concentrated in the city center and in some more distant neighborhoods such as Cala Major, Son Roca, Son Serra-La Vileta, Son Sardina, Cal Capiscol, Son Cladera, and El Rafal Vell. In contrast, the absence of intermodality is mostly found in the periphery, including neighborhoods such as Son Vida, Son Roca, La Teulera, El Coll d’en Rabassa, and Son Ferriol.
