Urban green spaces include parks, landscaped areas and trees in public and private spaces.

6% of the city of Valencia is covered by abundant vegetation and 30% by sparse vegetation. The orchard in the southeast of the city, which extends to the Albufera, is the main green space of the municipality. Within the city is the Turia River Park, which crosses Valencia from east to west and is connected to several parks and gardens. Except in the historic center, vegetation is also present in the form of trees and flowerbeds in the city.
